I want to leave my body for the night, to drift amongst the clouds, amongst the stars and the breeze - just to forget these times - and to kiss the light that holds me so. A thousand faces rise and drift towards me, itching my skin, scratching my feet. Kiss my neck and release. For all of those kindly words, there is one that remains, duty. What I wouldn’t give for that one moment, to be released, to be uncomplicated. Remember the days, remember the days, remember that day. Those warm hollow days, let’s remember those days. there’s no creepy fish and no tense times. No lines to be drawn and boundaries to be formed, remember those days, remember those days. And I’m like a fortress now, old and creaking, cold and grained.
