Just two months after the release of the Dark Days & Nights album, Insect Guide returned with a brand new EP, the 5 O’Clock Recordings.

Written and recorded in dusk-till-dawn post-gig sessions, the tracks showcased Insect Guide’s darkly atmospheric songwiting in a skeletal, mostly acoustic form, stripping back the densely layered sonics of previous releases.

The 5 O’Clock Recordings is a 4 track ghost story of isolation in true Dickensian English fashion. Haunted and hauntingly beautiful.

5 O’Clock Recordings was originally released at 5am on Monday December 20th on Eardrumspop Records.
